Ole-Ole Balinese Cuisine at Waterlily Bistro

Here's another food post to satisfy your food cravings! This time we headed for authentic Balinese cuisine which we thought might be worth trying out.

Waterlily Bistro at Mutiara Tropicana. I did some research on this restaurant and it actually shares the same owner as Bumbu Bali and Ole-Ole Bali.

Doesn't matter if I look fat in this picture as long as I get to enjoy good food.

A must-try Hot Barli boiled with Pandan leaves which explains the unusual fragrance

At first glance, it seems to be a typical Malay rice served with vegetables and chicken. However, I  must say the cooking style is very different compared to the local Malay cuisine. The chicken is extremely tender and is served with some sambal topping.

Thumbs up for the grilled prawns and fish served in this seafood nasi campur.

Sate lilit which is made of various seafood.

Couldn't remember how much we spent on this meal but it is a tad too pricey for people with average budget. It is worth trying out though for first timers.
