Stay tune to know why it is the best whitening product ; ). During the workshop, we are given the opportunity to try out the SEKKISEI range basic skin care and also the lotion mask. I have been using KOSÉ SEKKISEI products previously and I know these products definitely work wonders!

*BE SURE TO READ UNTIL THE END OF THIS POST TO JOIN SEKKISEI LOTION MASK GIVEAWAY CONTEST!*

KOSÉ Beauty Workshop is held at Fresca @ Gardens.

Thanks to Jac who invited us to join the workshop! ^^

Here are the lovely blue babies, also know as the SEKKISEI products. The best thing about this workshop is that we get to try each of the product and learn the correct applying techniques to ensure maximum results.

Couldn't wait for the workshop to start, was feeling super excited already =D

Mirrors, wet cottons, tissue all ready!

Tired looking face with eye bags @.@

Photo with tutor of the day, Ms. Jo. Met her at Mahsa Kose Roadshow two years ago no wonder she looks so familiar to me!

Here comes the secret recipe of the amazing lotion mask that I have told earlier. There are 9 benefits of SEKKISEI lotion mask including translucency, penetration, moisturizing, 0 pores, whitening, smoothening, firming, relaxing and evenness. All the aforesaid characteristics are the basic requirements of perfect translucent, snowy skin and SEKKISEI lotion mask is going to make it possible!

So you must be thinking why is this lotion mask so special? The answer lies in the super ingredients used which are all oriental plant extracts including Coix Seed Extract, Angelica Extract and Melothria Extract. All the ingredients suppress melanin production and have natural whitening effect on our skin. So we don't have to worry about excessive whitening/bleach chemical agents that can harm our skin.

Me washing off the dirt and oil by applying the cleansing cream. It’s important to have a clean face before you start applying mask.

Just keep calm and wash your face.

Girls, pay attention now because I’m going to list down the step-by-step instructions on how to apply this lotion mask!

1) Pour SEKKISEI lotion into cap until it reaches the line.
2) Put the mask into the cap
3) Allow mask to be absorbed by the lotion until it puffs up and become double of its original size.
4) Unfold the mask carefully and place it onto clean face for 5-10mins or until the mask is dried up.
5) Remove mask from face; tap the excess fluid into the skin until it is completely absorbed, no rinsing is necessary.
6) Voila! Skin is now fair, radiant and translucent like SNOW.

Not to mention it feels really refreshing while applying the lotion mask.

The before and after picture for comparison. This picture may not do justice due to the difference in lighting but I can really feel that the texture of my skin changed after applying the lotion mask. When I touch my skin, it feels bouncy as the skin has completely absorbed the water essence. My skin was really rough, dry and dull before the application so the difference really surprises me.

Refreshments after the workshop to replenish ourselves. We didn't even realise it had been more than two hours since the workshop started.

Guacamole, salsa and nachos etc for snacks. Fresca is a Mexican cuisine Restaurant so Mexican style food was being served.

Me and Christy after applying the SEKKISEI BB Cream. Looks completely different now eh? =D

Nuffnang Birthday Bash

Last Saturday was Nuffnang's annual birthday bash and I tagged along with my blogger gang members, Christy and Jac to join the party. The theme of the party was James Bond: Lost in Amazon which means we had to dress somehow like Bond girls who got lost in tropical jungle. @.@ It was a difficult task for me as I didn't have many dresses to choose from. Eventually I ended up in a long British vintage flare dress and pair it up with a beautiful necklace from House of Humerus. Visit House of Humerus instagram for more high quality accessories.  ; ) Was hoping that I wouldn't look like an alien as I was pretty sure there would be many bloggers in gorgeous theme-fit dresses and suits. I'm definitely not a regular party-goer.

Nuffnang and UBER is generous enough to offer a free uber ride for all event-goers. UBER is an on-demand private chauffeur service from US which is now available in Malaysia! A driver was assigned to pick us up as if we were atas people haha. I must say that we were so overwhelmed with excitement until we couldn't stop blabbering about how we were able to dress up prettily and enjoy free rides like royal princesses. Haha we are just a bunch of girls who love to enjoy like everyone else. = )

Posing with a luxurious Audi car. Hmm this dress is definitely too long for my height hence is making me look shorter than usual. Btw UBER is choosing one winner for a free ride in this gorgeous car. Omg how cool is that!

Girls being girls by insisting on a selfie despite passer-by offering to take a group picture of us. I bet the passer-by was taken aback for being rejected haha.

The venue of the event, Barbecue Garden @ KL Live Center. The place was crowded with bloggers and we had to be careful not to hit someone else while trying to shuffle our way to our seats.

Hashtag of the day #NuffnangIs007.

My birthday wish for Nuffnang pasted on the wishing tree. This is also one of the missions to be completed in order to find the killer.

Goodies bag from Nuffnang. I love goodies bag! There are various vouchers and free items inside including a Japanese foot mask which is really cool!

Group picture!

 MC of the day.

 Barbecued chicken as appetizer.

Another selfie of us including Christy's roommate.

We had to play darts in order to finish the secret mission that Nuffnang gave to us. The secret mission is to locate the bow-tie guy and ask for tips to reveal the killer. We managed to find the killer in the end but was a tad too late as the stage had earlier announced the identity of the killer. =( Sigh it was still an applaudable effort from me and Jac though haha.

 With Lance, the nuffnang team.

Met my cousin sister at the event! Was so surprised and glad to see her.

With Audrey, the gorgeous fashionista mum! She was so slimmed down that we kept bothering her with questions on how to get slim after pregnancy. Haha.

I was a lucky girl that night as I won two VIP tickets to Jersey Boys musical and this cute LINE character doll! I never had luck in winning prizes so I was surprised to be called out twice in a row to receive the prizes.

It is going to be my first time watching a musical so I'm definitely looking forward to it! =D =D =D

That's all for today's event post!

Sweetree Korean Cafe @ Ampang

Here's an extremely short post about this new Korean cafe that we discover at Ampang. The cafe is called Sweetree and is a Korean fusion cafe which offers coffee, cakes, Korean food and Malaysian food. Hubby and I were passing by after our gym session and we decided to have our post workout meal here.

Love the cosy and cute interior design. I especially love the fake tree that expands across the ceiling.

Feast on~!

Green onion pancake served in a hot plate! It's hard to resist Korean pancake moreover this is a hot-plate version! The savoury chilli sauce is such a perfect compliment to the doughy pancake.

Side dishes and congee topped with kimchi. Didn't know kimchi and congee can go so well together until now!

Hubby ordered his favourite Kimchi Jjiggae again so I wouldn't bother posting pictures of another Kimchi Jjiggae. The portion of the pancake was so huge that I was extremely full after the meal.

Went to Gangnam Kimbap at Ampang Point in the evening and the food there was soooo good. Can't wait to give another visit and blog about it!

That's all for today!

红辣椒 Hong Lat Jiao Chinese Steamboat @ Jalan Imbi

It has been a while since I last updated our blog... again! Hahaha I'm currently having my final clinical placement at the National Heart Institute so it's alright not to blog for the time being, right? =D  However, hubby insisted that I should at least blog about this famous Chinese steamboat restaurant where we celebrated our Valentine's day in advance.

The typical entrance door for a China style Chinese Restaurant.

We ordered this steamed meat dumpling which is our favourite side dish! I manage to eat at least 4 piece of it.

Here comes the China style steamboat. We ordered yuan yang which is two types of soup broth in a pot. On the left is normal chicken broth and on the right is the spicy broth. I love both of them and the soup really differs from the usual Malaysian style steamboat we had. The chicken broth is really delicious as I couldn't stop drinking it. The spicy broth tends to catch your throat after drinking more than one bowl so I stopped taking the spicy broth after that but it tastes really good as well.

Another side dish which Hubby's mother loves. Garlic marinated cucumber.

Me in my uniform after work.

The happy looking hubby!

That's all for today! It was a simple yet blissful Valentine's Day celebration for both of us. One visit isn't enough so I'm going to pay another visit with Hubby after I finish my clinical placement! =D
