Let's Buka Puasa!

It's the last week of the Ramadhan month thus explains the many buka puasa dinners organized by various corporates or individuals. Every year, me and my family get to attend buka puasa buffet at different hotels, thanks to daddy's friend for that! This year the buffet dinner was held at One World Hotel next to the One Utama Shopping Centre and of course hubby was not being missed out on this extravagant feast!

#OOTD Mustard dress and bag from Kerra Boutique.

Cinnamon Coffee House at One World Hotel. The place was extremely packed with people of different races waiting to buka puasa (end the fasting) with our Muslim friends.

And here comes the pictures of the mouth-watering food!

Must have Salmon Sashimi!

Endless queue at the popular Japanese food section, me and hubby were in the queue too to grab the salmon sashimi of course!

Semenyih, The Hidden Town

It's a no class day so my family and I was at Semenyih to visit my grandparents. It has been a while since I last visited this small town located far away from the city, about 8km southeast of the more well-known Kajang along the Kajang-Seremban road.

Semenyih literally means 'hidden' in Negeri Sembilan dialect but it was not so hidden anymore as the campus of University of Nottingham is located there.

Bright, sunny day with white clouds decorating the baby blue canvas.

Floral shorts from Kerra Boutique.

Was playing with my new toy, a Canon EOS 600D given by my uncle who owns a photoshop in the centre of the township.

The walkway outside my uncle's shop.

This is Semenyih's busiest place. The centre of the township.

Historical looking clock shop. Looks like it has been there before I was born.

Coconut tree.

A narrow winding road behind the temple.

 Random shot.

My grandparent's dog, Bogo.

Cute not? haha

Obviously the photos would probably come out nicer if it weren't for my lacking photography skills. Will definitely put more effort in taking nice pictures!

That's all for today's post!

En Route to a Healthier Lifestyle

I have been staying committed to my fitness goals ever since I signed up with a gym recently. My hubby and I paid a lump sum for it so that I will have no chance at all to generate any excuse to stop me from working out regularly. Kerra Boutique

Hubby introduced me this online boutique after revealing that it is where he got most of my birthday presents from and if you are contemplating online shopping, you might want to check this out. The reason we do online shopping instead of in-store shopping is to get cheap and nice products. What I like about Kerra Boutique is that everything is cheap and unique and moreover it is run by hubby's friend and so it is trustworthy and reliable.

"Kerra boutique is founded by a father-daughter (both are graphic designers!) team. We aim to give you the best services and goods at affordable prices. We also love quirky and unique stuff! So watch out for those."
- found on their website at kerraboutique.blogspot.com

These are all the items that hubby got for me for my birthday.

Item #1: Floral shorts with elastic waistband. My favourite piece!

Item #2: Vintage bag. Can be a sling bag or back pack. My favourite piece too! haha.

Item #3: Girly Tote Bag. I love to have this on my casual outing. If I'm not mistaken, the last bag available (peach colour) is in my hands now.

Item #4: Cute Double Flap Purse replacing my old and worn china made fake branded purse.

Item #5: Mustard Dress. I'm putting effort to reduce my tummy fat so that I will look good in this dress!

All the items that hubby bought for me are not more than RM50 and the shorts is RM30++ only. The price is very reasonable for the quality of goods.

Do check out their new items and price at

July Recap

July is such a significant month for me this year. Not only it is my most important birthday month, it also signifies the start of Puasa month for the Muslims, London Olympics Games and a brand new college semester. Well means that I'm gonna be busy busy and no time for slacking around. Sigh let's hope I will be doing well in my studies through the remaining year. Okay here's a recap of the past few weeks happenings which I didn't manage to blog.

#1 Canceled my T-ara Showcase tickets as Hwayoung, my favourite member is leaving the group due to some controversies. Not gonna pay to watch a girl group which is rumored to have bullied Hwayoung just because she is a new member and has to endure all these hardships. Sigh. More details here: http://www.allkpop.com/2012/07/t-ara-controversy-cliff-notes-edition

#2 Stayed up late to watch the opening ceremony of the London Olympics Games and I love it! Well, not the impressive synchronization shown by the Chinese in the Beijing Olympics but I love the sincerity and the wit of the Brits in their performance.

#3 Finally signed up as a member at Sports Toto Fitness Centre today! See what I mean about being busy? Hubby had previously blogged about this gym here

#4 Tried out Vivo Pizza for the first time. Nothing special though and I would prefer a home delivered Domino pizza.

#5 Also watched The Dark Knight Rises twice. First one was with family and the second one was with hubby. Despite being well-praised by media critics, movie franchise fans and cinema audience, the story has not impacted me as much as I would have expected. My dad said it was boring and my mum loved it. Me just being indifferent and wondering what I could have missed amidst the applause and chatters of the impressed cinema crowd.

#6 Here's Ashie watching tv leisurely #likeaboss

#7 Having fun hitting nails to fix the broken closet at Hubby's place. Reminds me of our Kemahiran Hidup class in high school.

Also, an additional item to my reading list as I have received this novel for my birthday. ^^

Gahhh.. and many more to come! Where is the time when I need it? =S
